Training System Support

Operations, Maintenance, and Support (OM&S) are critical to keeping our customers' training systems operational and ready for training.

ATC provides structured OM&S for key weapon system training simulators, ensuring operational readiness far exceeding requirements, and enabling our warfighters to stay current on their training to Fly, Fight, and Win.

Contractor Logistics Support

ATC has proven performance maintaining flight simulators and training devices that achieve greater than 95% device availability.

Beyond equipment reliability and maintainability, availability is principally a function of technician qualifications and training, appropriate support package design, timely supply support, proactive obsolescence planning for DMS/MS solutions, and a continuous QC program.

Training System Support Center

ATC offers over 12 years' experience managing military aircraft training systems. Our TSSC groups include software and hardware engineers, data managers, configuration managers, test engineers, information systems security officers, network administrators, concurrency engineers, and DMO engineers.

Our TSSC approach integrates user and training requirements in a data-centric environment to maintain baseline configuration, aircraft concurrency, device availability, and certification. The TSSC is the focal point for effective, efficient, long-term training system sustainment and the center for data collection and system activity coordination.

Program Management

Ethical, exceptional program management is at the core of our corporate culture. ATC Program Managers are deliberately screened for cultural consistency, relevant subject matter expertise, and experience.

Every program is supported by a Program Management Office employing proven Project Management Institute processes, from initial planning through close-out. ATC's Contractor Performance Assessment Reports and Prime Contractor evaluations consistently reflect exceptional program management.

Concurrency & Fidelity Upgrades

Our team works closely with the customer, from platform and training system Program Offices to warfighter SMEs, to identify in advance the modifications that impact training system concurrency.

We execute concurrency upgrades across the life cycle, from requirements identification through development, integration, testing, and delivery to the warfighter ahead of the aircraft platform, increasing reliability and lowering aircraft training flight hours.

Distributed Mission Operations

DMO events are networked simulations that provide realistic, high-fidelity training. We help customers establish network connectivity that conforms to RMF cybersecurity protocols, and participate in the USAF DMO Standards Development Working Group (SDWG).

ATC has orchestrated multiple DMO training events, including:
  • Langley Distributed Training Center (DTC) led large force exercises
  • Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC) interoperability testing
  • Engineering test and execution for the initial large-scale Fleet Synthetic Training – Mega (FST-M) 17-3
  • Distributed Close Air Support (CAS) and Air Interdiction (AI) training events

Cybersecurity

ATC maintains required levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation for DoD IT systems, with ISSM and ISSO functions staffed by IAM/IAT-certified professionals (CISSP, Security+ CE, CompTIA A+).

We transition DoD IT systems from DIACAP to RMF, help customers achieve and maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO), run credentialed ACAS vulnerability and compliance scans, and maintain detailed POA&Ms.

Contract Transition

Immediately after award, the ATC PM coordinates with the government program office and the incumbent to begin site activities, prioritizing hiring the incumbent staff and validating key personnel with the government.

Transition functions include:
  • Site visits to gather information and meet stakeholders
  • Associate contractor agreements with OEMs
  • Security clearances for personnel
  • Training new hires
  • Inventorying all GFE / GFP / GFM
  • Functional baseline checks of training devices (SIMCERT)
